(Email received, December 2021, from Master Tue Chu) -CONTINUED- fire - offensive: fast attacking, all the time is in move; Fire could be the fighter who always attacks without being really dangerous. In this way he burns and exhausts his resources, just controlling him without consuming too much energy in turn. However, if this fighter is a Thunder / Lightning Bolt, who has the ability to focus his fire into a bolt of lightning which then hurls at you, then he is dangerous. You have to be careful and stop him before he can throw his fireball.   earth - defensive: stability, more powerful;  Terra is the fighter who is on the defensive, who is stable. But it could turn into a mountain and emerge as an earthquake and in this case take over. You have to be careful and hit it before it can fully emerge.   water - offensive/defensive: looks for a way to the enemy and adapts to his attack (counterattack) Water is the flexible fighter, who escapes your attacks but goes no further, and will wear out as the rain runs out when the sun returns. It is a different situation if he becomes a lake, that is, he is able to concentrate his flexible techniques and envelop and submerge you like a tsunami…/.

Cavalcade of Lights Tonight marks the official kick off to the holiday season in Toronto with the Cavalcade of Lights. Running between now and January 2, the event has been held annually since 1967 (with the exemption of 2020). The city’s 17-metre Christmas tree will be officially lit up at Nathan Philips Square alongside a special program consisting of ice-skating, acrobatic and musical performances. Traditionally, Cavalcade of Lights includes a massive display of fireworks on opening night, however, this year the fireworks display will no longer be held. Instead, the event will consist of diverse light installations reflecting global cultural festivals. Attendees will be able to witness dazzling light tunnels, illuminating ice sculptures and an enlightening lantern garden.

KRAKOW A MAGICAL CITY

(Wed 03 October 2012)

The more I come to this place the more I love this Polish city.

There is something magical here, especially in the evening.

The Market Square is intriguing so much that the visitor could not know exactely where he or she is, and in what century. The past, the future, all are present to make the evening of Market Square just fabulous. You cannot die before visiting this place.

Life is beautiful; life in Krakow evening is more than beautiful: It's wonderful!

After Krakow I will be in Warsaw then Zyrardow, and Sunday I will be in Berlin at the Dojo of Heli.

www.clubmasterhoang.blogspot.com   POST  530  11 December 2021   THE FIVE ELEMENTS Master Tue-Chu Edio Catoni Part 1
(Email received, December 2021, from Master Tue Chu) Hi Piotr and GM, In an old thesis of mine, starting from a document of the GM, I had developed the study of the connections between the 5 elements and the 8 quai. In this report the following combinations were made: 1.    WATER with Water and Lake o WATER is the water that goes from the sky to the earth, the rain that hits you from above. o LAKE is concentrated water that rises from the earth to the sky, which submerges you. 2.    FIRE with Fire and Thunder o FIRE is the fire that burns and whose flames develop in the direction from the earth to the sky, but which remains in the same place and consumes itself. o THUNDER or LIGHTNING is like a concentrated fire that hits you as it descends from heaven to earth. 3.    EARTH with Earth and Mountain o EARTH is the earth that forms a solid and stable base. o MOUNTAIN is the concentrated earth that emerges upwards shaken by earthquakes and instead of giving you stability it destroys you 4.    WOOD with Wind 5.    METAL with Sky A further development of your study could be to consider the dual aspect of the elements FIRE, WATER and EARTH, even if I can't tell you how to apply it to combat in VAT. I can only make a few considerations of which I am not sure of the validity. (to be continued on the next post, Post 531)

WITHOUT BEING ASKED (POST 530 -Past POST 142 January 20, 2014)
WITHOUT BEING ASKED  In 1961, exactly 53 years ago, on the 20th of this month (January 2014) president J.F. Kennedy said in his famous Inaugural address ‘… ask not what your country can do for you –ask what you can do for your country.’  This famous quote has been inspiring to many people, including myself since the time I was a student. Then year after year the more I discovered more countries in the world the more I met people asking what they can do for their country and the less I saw these people doing good things without being asked to do. My dear fellows Black-Belts, do not ask what you can do, do the best you can without being asked to.   Did you volunteer to clean up the place where you did your exercises in recent days?    Charles Phan Hoang,  January 2014
