POST 342 08APRIL 2018
REVISION OF (Heart Sutra)
THE HIGHEST WAY OF WISDOM
In this post the focus is on the form TINH LUOC (Bat-Nha Tinh-Luoc), an exercise that has been inspired by the Prajnaparamitta Hrdaya Sutra (HEART SUTRA)
BAT-NHA QUYEN-MON is a series of physical exercises that has been inspired by the teachings of the Heart Sutra (Prajnaparamitta Hrdaya Sutra). It is comprised of a series of statements associated with a sequence of movements that serves to guide the practice of personal inner power training. BAT-NHA QUYEN-MON should not be taken as a translation or commentary of the Heart Sutra. Therefore it may vary significantly from the original instructions of the Heart Sutra for its own specific pedagogical purposes.
- Bat-Nha Quyen Mon consists of three ‘forms /kata’ (quyen in Vietnamese) each can be practiced separately:
a) Bat-Nha TINH LUOC Quyen
This is the most important form (kata/quyen) and it is relatively short. It consists of 7 sequences.
b) Bat-Nha THAN CHU
This is an extremely profound form consisting of only three sequences that help gaining self-confidence.
c) Bat-Nha TRƯỜNG BẢN. This is a comprehensive, long and very elaborate set.
