THE CONDOR Who
doesn't love the beautiful melody of "El Condor Pasa"? It's one of
my favorites, and I cherish my collection of this song performed by various
musical groups from around the world. In
Vietchidao practice, the condor features prominently in the martial form of
BAT DIEU, The Eight Birds. This majestic bird embodies wisdom and benevolence
and is revered for its power, strength, and intelligence. The condor's
ability to soar effortlessly for hours without flapping its wings is a
testament to its remarkable grace and endurance. Benevolence,
one of the core virtues in our art, is beautifully represented by the condor.
Through our practice, we strive to cultivate and embody this virtue in our
