 A REMARKABLE MURAL ART WORK

  1. Hi GM
The mural celebrating the historic city of Śródka presented in the Polish city of Poznan on the first of October 2015. "A story with a trumpet player on the roof and a cat in the background" is located near the Cathedral of St. Margaret, and was organized by Gerard Cofta, president of the island settlements of the Cathedral-Śródka-Zawada-Komandoria. It took three years to get funds from the city to allow the project to start.

Śródka is a historic district of the city of Poznan, in western Poland, and the mural was created to remember when the settlement obtained its "city rights" in 1231. The district was incorporated into the city of Poznań in the 1800s. name Śródka comes from the Polish word środa, "Wednesday", from the market that was held there on that day of the week.
