tall, slim man who had followed Lam-Tieu saw the four men exchanging a few
words, and then move the vehicle back on the street along the sidewalk. They
entered into the shop which had a wide front entrance. He waited on the
corner of the street, quietly watching the entrance door. A few minutes later,
he saw the three accomplices leaving the shop of Lam-Tieu. They got into
their vehicle and left the scene with a rattling noise. While his associates
were gone, Lam-Tieu spent a few minutes to store some goods before turning
the lights off and making his way out through the front door. As he opened
the door, he unexpectedly received a full strike in the face, knocking him
off balance and sending him to the ground. The tall man appeared in the
doorway and continued pouncing on Lam Tieu, grabbed his ankles with his
strong hands, and kicked the door shut. Quickly, Lam-Tieu managed to break
free and escape to the first floor. The tall man pursued him in the dark.
Arriving on the first floor, all the lights suddenly lit up showing a large
training room. Lam-Tieu was standing in the middle of the room, armed with a
long dagger, ready to attack. In a blink of an eye, before Lam Tieu could
realize what was happening, the tall man had already pulled out his secret
weapon, known as kien khon lien, which swiftly caught and pulled the dagger
from the hands of Lam-Tieu. The tall man jumped onto him like a tiger
catching its prey. Lam Tieu received a painful knee kick in his crotch
followed by a sweeping technique that threw him down on the floor. With great
agility, the tall man went behind him and overpowered Lam Tieu by tightening
the chain of his kien khon lien around his neck. Speaking with difficulty,
Lam Tieu asked: "What do you want?" (to be continued) |
