of your eyes out. You have the choice, your right eye or your left eye?" Lam Tieu: "But why?" Tall man: "If you don’t want to lose an
eye, answer my questions. Why the two young women have been attacked this
evening?" Lam Tieu: "I am only executing an
order" Tall man: "For what purpose?" Lam Tieu: "To question the American
woman" Tall man: "About what?" Lam Tieu: "About what she knows" Tall man: "What’s this about?" Lam Tieu remained silent. The tall man, tightened his grip around Lam
Tieu’s neck: "Who did give you the order?" Lam Tieu remained silent knowing that speaking
another word would have been his death sentence. The tall man realized that
he would not get more information from his questioning. He saw Lam Tieu's cellphone, which had fallen onto
the floor during the fight. Realizing that the phone could be a source of
information, he decided to immobilize Lam Tieu for a few hours by applying a
technique of hitting his hands onto a vital point on the ears. Lam Tieu was
now unconscious. The tall man returned his weapon into his inside pocket and
picked up the cellphone. He began his detective work by calling the phone
number of the last call received. Nguyen Luc was the name of the tall man. He was
born in Hanoi in 1974, the year of the Tiger, in a family which had been part
of the Thuan Thien Society for National Protection for a very long time.
Within the Society, he held an important position for the protection of its
members in the capital Hanoi. Being an expert in martial arts, he trained the
young members of the Society. In his professional life, he was a police
detective specializing in fighting against criminal organizations,
particularly the one known as Hac-Hoi, Black Society, of which Lam-Tieu was a
member. During the last forty-eight hours, he noticed an unusual increase in
activities at Lam Tieu’s shop that led him to heighten his surveillance and
shadowing. From this, he directly witnessed the kidnapping of Clara, which
