	POST 716 11 - A SECRET WEAPON The van turned towards Hang-Dong Street, ‘street of Copper’. Chasing behind it, Thu-Lan suddenly heard a crashing noise. The van had struck a utility pole and was immobilized, with its hood smashed and the side door wide open. The driver was still inside. When she cautiously approached the van, she saw Clara running at full speed along the sidewalk, being chased by the man who abducted her earlier. His running gait indicated that he was injured, probably suffering from Clara’s sudden attacks when they were inside the van. Thu-Lan increased her motorbike speed and stopped beside Clara shouting: "Quick! Jump on behind me." Swiftly, Clara jumped on the seat behind Thu-Lan. The motorcycle disappeared backfiring in a side alley while their pursuer shouted insults. Meanwhile, Lam-Tieu arrived and saw a scene of desolation in front of his shop: the van was damaged and his three accomplices were in a pitiful condition!    (to be continued)
